Bars And Restaurants In A Historic Warehouse
The Cumberland River once served as a major shipping lane for riverboats carrying goods to the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Warehouses dotted the downtown Nashville area, housing goods as they were waiting for transport.
Eventually, many of those warehouses were abandoned and left to fall into a state of disrepair. That was until entrepreneurs saw an opportunity and ran with it.
Many of these historic warehouses have been renovated and given new life as apartments, condos, restaurants, and bars. Let no trip to Nashville be completed without stopping at one of these industrial-style bars with live music, drinks, and food.
Pinewood Social
A former trolley barn, this entertainment venue has a vintage bowling alley, live stage shows, and an outdoor bocce court. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Drinks are served from a vintage 1970 Airstream trailer.
Never Never
Never Never was once a welding shop on Houston street. Enjoy food, drinks, and live music in a rustic industrial setting.
Old Glory
This building was once the boiler room for one of Nashville’s largest steam cleaners. Many of the original features have been kept and incorporated into the decor. Food and drinks are served daily.
Acme Feed And Seed
This impressive reinforced concrete building has housed over 10 different businesses since 1890. The Acme Feed and Hatchery store moved into this location in 1943. Eventually, the business closed and sat vacant until 2014. It was renovated and became Acme Feed and Seed, serving food and drinks, including local craft beer. There is live music to enjoy and the rooftop bar has an impressive view of the Cumberland River.

Wildhorse Saloon
Come for the drinks, and stay for the line dancing!
The Wildhorse serves great food, cold beer, and cocktails. The highlight of a night at the Wildhorse Saloon is the large dance floor.
The dance floor is 3300 square feet, framed by a set of horseshoe-shaped balconies. Patrons are encouraged to dance any time the music plays, even when the live band plays a set.
Don’t know the line dance steps yet? Don’t let that stop you from joining the fun! Take part in the club’s nightly dance lessons. Check the online calendar for lesson schedules and just show up. No reservation is necessary.

Coyote Ugly Saloon
When you are making the rounds and checking out the bars on 2nd Street, step inside the Coyote Ugly Saloon for a drink and watch as bartenders and staff encourage female patrons to dance on the bars.
On Christmas morning in 2020, a bomb was detonated in an RV on 2nd Street, causing over $200,000 in damages at Coyote Ugly. The bar has recently undergone extensive renovations and reopened in May 2022 to an eagerly waiting crowd.

Dirty Little Secret
Dirty Little Secret is a mixed music nightclub located on-site at Nashville’s Dream Hotel.
Billed as an “Intriguing experiential nightclub and ever-evolving entertainment collective,” the entertainment includes live stage shows and famous DJs playing music from various genres.
The Dirty Little Secret’s printer’s alley location and dark lighting give it a nod to a speakeasy theme.

Bowie’s
You’ll find Bowies just two blocks from Lower Broadway and a world away from country music.
Bowie’s Nashville opened in February 2020 as a rock bar where aspiring rock legends can play and hopefully fulfill their dreams of stardom. The bar also honors the past, with rock music legend Ted Nugent playing during the grand opening weekend.
