1) Take A Free Dance Lesson At The Wildhorse Saloon
Put on your best dancing boots. It’s time for free line dance lessons!
Since June 1994, the Wildhorse Saloon has welcomed fans to the Music City with live music, food, drinks, and dancing. The dance floor is a whopping 3300 square feet, with experienced instructors teaching the latest line dance steps.
There is no charge for the lessons, and no reservations are needed. Check the website for class times, and just show up.
2) Attend A Live Sporting Event
There is more to this lively music city than music!
There are four professional sports teams that call this city home, and they are all within a short drive from downtown Nashville. Whether your favorite sport is football, hockey, soccer, or baseball, seeing a game is one of the many things to do in Nashville at night.

3) Have A Laugh At Third Coast Comedy Club
Enjoy a night of laughs with live improv, standup, and sketch shows at Third Coast Comedy Club in downtown Nashville.
Unlike most comedy clubs, this one is open to all ages with no drinks minimum to buy. Food and drinks, including soft drinks, cocktails, and local craft beer, are available at the bar. Live shows are improvised on the spot and could have adult content. Still, special kid-friendly options are available on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month.

4) Lower Broadway Live Entertainment
No visit to the Music City would be complete without a visit to iconic lower Broadway.
From the music row area to the river, Broadway is teeming with historic buildings, neon lights, country music, restaurants, and rooftop bars. Stop by during the day to visit the museums of country music legends Glen Campbell and Patsy Cline. Come back at night for drinks, dinner, and dancing.
5) Honky Tonk Highway
If you have more than one night to spend in Nashville, you might want to give the Honky Tonk Highway its own night.
This rocking section of lower Broadway is only four blocks long, with over 20 Honky Tonks offering live country music from 10:00 am to 3:00 am daily.
6) See The Spectacular View From The Pedestrian Bridge
See the city lights from the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge over the Cumberland River. At night this section of the river is a colorful reflection of city lights and dinner cruises.
The Seigenthaler bridge, formerly called the Shelby Street Bridge, runs between downtown Nashville at 1st avenue and Nissan Stadium. Stop at the halfway point to see the bright lights of the city as the skyscrapers illuminate the dark sky and watch the dinner cruise boats as they navigate the Cumberland River.
Teen tip: If you have teenagers with you, surprise them with a trip to the Devils Dungeon haunted house on the north side of the Cumberland River, a 20-minute walk from the bridge.
